In 2012 four friends, winemakers and wine lovers, embarked on a new adventure in the heartland of Spain. Bodegas D4 is a small winery located in El Picazo, in the heart of the Cuenca Manchuela. It is characterized by the elaboration of wines with personality, packaged in bottles with modern and exclusive designs, all combining traditional methods with the latest technologies.
A lot of care was taken to purchase the best quality vineyards in the region that offer the ability to grow new varieties and other indigenous ones such as Bobal. Maximum care is taken of the raw material from its collection until its arrival at the warehouse, this includes manual harvesting in boxes in the early hours of the morning, refrigerated transport to the cellar and a selection table with rigorous sorting undertaken prior to the destemming.

Low temperature preparation in small capacity stainless steel tanks to extract all the goodness from the grapes is vital for the quality of the wine which is then aged in French oak barrels. Coupage is then made of the varieties in the ideal proportions. It is bottled, without clarification, filtration or previous stabilization, in order to keep intact the organoleptic characteristics of the wine.
