62% Rabigato, 23%Gouveio, 12.5% Viosinho, 2.5% Côdega de Larinho
Douro is not just a Port region. It also makes fantastic complex reds and wonderful whites. This is the latter. The green fruit and pear notes are followed by fresh tropical flavours with a touch of honey and a smooth dry finish. In the mouth it shows excellent balance because the acidity is there to pull it together.
Fermentation is made at low temperatures in stainless steel vats without a hint of oak. This wine has received an excellent notation from the tasting panel at the Douro Wine Institute and is being recognized globally.
Style: Fresh gastronomic white.
Serving Temperature: 8C – 10C
Suggestions: Pairs very well with cod dishes, BBQ and oven baked fish, vegetable dishes such as ratatouille and grilled white meats.
