This winery was founded in 1998 by Comendador Leonel Cameirinha, and Figueirinha is now managed by the grandson Filipe Cameirinha. Filipe brings energy and modernity to the project but both generations share the passion for the beauty and calmness of Alentejo, where tradition and culture come entwined with modern wine and olive oil creation. 

The cutting edge winery was built in 2003 allowing full scale production which was always their dream. They have 40ha of red grape varieties planted and 30ha for white varieties. The influence of both generations is clear with wines of a more traditional style and appearance and some with a modern character and eye catching labels!

  • AmnéSia Red 2019

    HF2-R Cork - Vinho Regional do Alentejo - Aragonêz, Syrah & Cabernet Sauvignon - 14.5%

    This wines appealing ruby colour combined with wild berry, black tea, red fruit and white pepper aromas combine to create this intriguing wine from Alentejo region.

    Amnesia Red is a perfect example of why Alentejo is the best region to make well balanced wines that are a combination of indigenous and international grape varieties. It has soft tannins and a well balanced acidity to make this delicious wine that your customers will not forget.

    Style: Mouth-watering, herby red.

    Suggestions: This wine can be enjoyed by itself or with cold meats, roast pork, lasagne or pizza. This wine is a good all-rounder that matches with many food types.

    Simple & engaging, this wine is the expression of the winery’s gratitude to the earth. When Alentejo inhabitants say “Na Te Rales” they mean “Don’t worry. The Earth will provide”. Well it certainly has with this amazing red. The varieties Touriga Nacional, Syrah & Alicante Bouschet enjoy themselves in the Alentejo sun, cherished by the richness of the warmth of Beja soils.

    A fresh nose identify plenty of red berries & unripe cherries with spicy nuances.

    You will get to know a wine with structure, body and complexity where balanced tannins give a yet smooth, smoky, peppery touch.

    Style: Mouth-watering, herby red.

    Serving Temperature: 16 - 18C

    Suggestions: Perfect accompaniment to rich casseroles, wild boar sausages, game dishes.
